The UTCustom Revolution eQuad is the culmination of nearly 15 years of building custom quads. The Revolution eQuad has been designed to get you where you want to go on road or off.
STEERING
Our patented tiller steering mechanism is intuitive and easy to adjust. Unlike other forms of steering, the tiller steering feels like more of a "push/pull" motion that is easy to get used to. We've implemented quick-release rod ends that allow you to fold the handlebars down completely for storage and transport. Simply pull back on the tie rod spring to release the corresponding ball joint and voila! the handlebars are folded neatly out of the way.
GEARING
Choose however much gearing you need! The Revolution eQuad RS comes standard with 10-speed derailleur gearing in the rear, and single speed up front. If you're feeling like you need a wider gear range, you can opt for expanded front and rear gearing. We always recommend our favorite; the 14-speed Rohloff hub in the rear. And with the eQuad's unique setup upgrading your front gearing to something like the Pinion and still have the benefits of the Bafang motor!
SUSPENSION
Forget being tossed around while enjoying your off road trails. The frame of the eQuad is supported in the rear by a pair of DNM DV-22 shocks. These shocks are easy to adjust based on your preference and provide a comfortable ride on all terrain.
PEDAL ASSIST
Utah Trikes has been motorizing trikes and quads since we first began. After trying and testing dozens of motors for the eQuad, the best option we found was the Bafang 1000W mid drive that we have been using for years. Unlike standard trikes we install the Bafang underneath the seat, separate from the front and rear gearing. It's got plenty of torque and power to tackle any tough terrains with assisted pedal power, as well as a throttle for a some riding without the need to pedal.
We have different choices of control displays. The 860C shown on the left is the largest and brightest display, while the 500C is sleek with integrated buttons. If you don't care about tracking your speed and mileage the 790 interface is the simplest.
A UTCustom quad deserved hydraulic brakes! Tons of stopping power and practically no maintenance. We've spec'd the Tektro HD-E530 brakes with integrated motor switches and locking levers so no additional parking brake is needed.
