This recumbent trike might be the most fun anyone can have on three wheels. The EZ Tadpole SX has a low center of gravity that handles like a pedal-powered go-cart. The EZ Tad SX was designed to introduce new riders to this thrilling world of trike riding without breaking their wallets. With 24 gears, it won't break their legs either. Updates to the EZ-Tadpole SX include Direct Steering, the new Slotted Seat adjustment system, and rattle-free and infinite-adjust seat struts.

Great option for shorter riders we can supply an upgrade front chain-set with 152mm cranks in place of the more standard 170mm. These cranks come with alloy CNC machined 22/32/44 tooth chain rings on a 64/104 - 4 arm spider. The rings are smaller than those used on the standard chain set we use and therefore give a more appropriate lower gear spread.

The Pinion C1.9XR 9-Speed XR (Extra wide range) is engineered with 9 distinct gears, making it perfect for situations where riders need quick access to both very low and very high gears, such as on steep climbs or during fast descents. Unlike standard cassettes that feature closely spaced gears, the C1.9XR has larger jumps between gears, facilitating greater adaptability to various terrains. The gears are situated within the hub, which eliminates the necessity for external derailleurs, resulting in a clean and low-maintenance drivetrain. The gearbox provides 9 unique gear options, striking a good balance between a wide range and manageable shifting. When comparing it to other Pinion models: -C1.12: This model offers a higher gear count (12-speed) and features smaller gear steps, which enable better cadence control and smoother transitions for gradual terrain changes. -C1.6: A lighter weight option that has a smaller gear range.

The P1.18 shifts faster than traditional systems and can switch multiple gears at once, minimizing breakage risk.

This specific model offers 6 distinct gear ratios, making it perfect for situations where a wide range of gears isn't necessary, such as urban commuting or e-bikes with speed limitations. The C1.6 gearbox is smaller and lighter than some other Pinion models, and its gear range is well-suited for lower speeds with high torque. Comfort is the game!

There's a reason this is called the "comfort trike." Take a look at that seat! Totally adjustable and totally comfortable.
