Why Douglas Rides a Catrike Expedition

I've been riding my Catrike Expedition (#505) since August of 2008. I’ve always been a long distance rider. Soon to be 75 years old, I ride whenever it’s not raining or snowing, although I have found myself in both rain and snow. I average 150 per week. In the past 3 years I’ve completed 11,000+ miles. A group of younger riders stopped me a while back and asked me “What’s the difference between your trike and two wheeled bikes?”. I didn’t hesitate,” Well the biggest difference is I’m smiling all the time”.
