Built on our Revolution eQuad frame we've made several game changing upgrades, including four powerful mag wheel integrated hub motors for a combined peak output of 7000 watts.

On top of it all we've designed a custom suspension system with Revolution Quad tune-able coil over shocks in the front and rear, making it easy to navigate through any off-road terrain.

With a top speed of 20MPH, this is the fastest and lightest recumbent 4x4 quad on the market. Delivering unmatched power and performance like you've never seen in an offroad wheelchair.

For years, we have been working on this secret project. After much planning, engineering, prototypes, and errors we are excited to finally introduce the all-new Revolution 4x4 eQuad FS!

We started with the eQuad platform and took it on a journey towards a more reliable, efficient, and powerful quad that you could take even farther to places an eQuad could never go before.

A big focus that we had for this over the equad was enhancing adaptability, safety, and comfort while keeping up with the pace of the job.

We have now developed a quad that is puncture-proof, with custom full suspension, WAY more power, and more adaptive options than ever before. All based on the numerous requests we received from our customers.

The new 4X4 Revolution eQuad FS is really an upgrade from our standard quad in every way. This quad comes with dual batteries, integrated headlights and tail lights, and is equipped with either an upright seat or our Revolution Recumbent Seat, along with a mirror. Additionally, you have the choice of skid plates or foot plates. You can even upgrade to a classic equad Pedal Hybrid.

In order to construct a 4x4 quad, first thing was first it needed to come equipped with 4 strong hub motors. However, not just any hub motor would suffice. After several attempts, we decided to develop our own hub motor that could be integrated into mag wheels.

Each motor can produce 1750Watts of output, with a total peak output of 7000Watts between all 4 wheels. Each mag wheel features a 20M 4130 ultra-hardened steel axle and anodized aluminum motor cover, which are designed to stay strong and sturdy helping you tackle steep hills and rough terrains with ease. Moreover, you never have to worry about breaking a spoke again!

To beef up the wheels on the 4 by 4 even more, how about we make the tires 90% more puncture proof than the standard equad tires? To achieve this the 4x4 Quad will now come with stock Tannus Armour puncture protection.

Tannus utilizes 15mm of multi-cell foam to prevent 90% of common bike tire flats. Say goodbye to pinch and puncture flats. And if you do pop a tire, Tannus Armour has "Run-Flat" technology that lets you ride a few miles all without damaging your rim.

To power 4 integrated hub motors, we obviously needed a new controller. With nothing on the market for our custom motor set up, we did what we do best and made our own custom controller too.

Our biggest accomplishment with this controller is that it features redundancies- meaning if a motor fails, it can still drive on 1,2, or 3 motors at a time. Never leaving you stranded.

Our controller and motors come with a unique display that has 5 levels of assist: Level 1 - 3.5 miles per hour Level 2- 7.5 miles per hour Level 3 - 13.5 miles per hour Level 4 - 20 miles per hour and Level 5 - 20 miles per hour-Up to 30

Our all new controller also features reverse and not just for non pedal only versions but for BOTH non pedal hybrid and pedal-hybrid 4x4's, Which is a big upgrade from our original eQuad.

Our UL listed 1600WH dual batteries offer a range of approximately 20 miles. However, if you need more range, don't worry, you have the option of upgrading to 3 or 4 batteries adding not only an additional 100 miles added to your range, but 800WH per battery. Letting you go 120 miles on just one charge. Keep in mind that with 3 or more batteries, you will need to upgrade to our Custom Cargo Rack so that they can be properly mounted.

Dual Hydraulic Brakes

For such a large vehicle the 4x4 needs an efficient braking system for safety. That's why we have equipped it with all new dual hydraulic brakes at both the front and rear ends of the quad.

Our hydraulic brakes come with a locking brake pin, which keeps the quad in the park position when it's not being used or for extra stability when you're transferring to or from your eQuad.

Not to mention that these brakes are simple and easy to maintain. You can take your quad to any certified recumbent trike/bike shop, and they can do general maintenance and yearly tune-ups easily.

Steering

On the base model of our eQuad we use M8 steering hardware, but here on the 4 wheel drive there's much beefier suspension so upgraded steering components are a must for better handling.

Because of this the Revolution 4x4 eQuad FS is equipped with all new M10 steering hardware. It also includes our tiller steering mechanism that is patented and designed to be intuitive and easily adjustable. Unlike other steering systems, the tiller steering uses a simple "push/pull" motion, which is easy to use.

We have also added quick-release rod ends to enable you to fold the handlebars down entirely for easy entry and exit from your quad.

To fold the handlebars, all you have to do is pull back on the tie rod spring to release the corresponding ball joint. And voila! Your handlebars are neatly folded out of the way.

When you are trying to get in and out of your quad these fold down handlebars can make all the difference for an easy maneuver

All-New Custom Suspension

For everything this quad is built to tackle, we had to make sure it had the best suspension possible. So we did just that by designing a unique front and rear suspension system that includes adjustable coil over shocks in the front and rear. This setup makes it effortless to navigate through any challenging off-road terrain.

For every 4X4 quad, we use the EXA Form 290 Coil shocks for both the front and rear shocks. This shock is easily customized with different options depending on weight. From soft to hard there are different builds to match your ride.

You can customize the preload and top-out of this suspension to your liking by adjusting the tightness of the coil. This combined with the customization of your suspension means you have infinite options to tailor the shock to your preferences, which ensures you get the highest level of comfort possible!

Pedal-Hybrid Option

Unlike the standard Revolution eQuad the base model of the 4x4 is the version with no pedals, and skid plates only. But that doesn't mean we left out the opportunity to add pedals if you wish.

Upgrade your 4x4 eQuad FS to a Pedal Hybrid and stand out from the crowd! With this upgrade, you'll get our Revolution Posi Differential Kit, 14-speed Rohloff Internally geared hub, and our newly re-designed full-length Rohloff shifter. All on top of what's included in the stock version. Giving you the power to not just drive anywhere, but pedal anywhere too.

Seat Options

Sticking with differences between the original equad and the 4 wheel drive version. The 4 by 4 doesn't come stock with the revolution reclined seat, but instead with our upright padded seat.

The stock seat option is perfect for a more familiar wheelchair platform. It can be adjusted up and down the frame easily for height adjustments, and It's also great for easy quad dismounting.

You can choose to go with the standard Upright seat with easy slide adjustment, or the standard option on the stock equad; the adjustable Recumbent seat with custom Revolution mesh/cargo bag.

Front Bumper

Every quad comes with a front bumper to provide protection from any collisions. One thing you probably didn't know is how customizable the front bumper is.

With the non pedal configuration of the 4 by 4 we offer either our new UTcustom skid plate style attached to the front bumper, or the platform foot plates that we use for the RIGS. And they are all complete with an easy quick release mechanism to quickly remove for storage, transportation, and ease of access.

We also offer an option for an extended boom, if you need more leg room or a different leg angle as you ride.

If you opt for the Pedal Hybrid quad instead of an extended boom option, the boom can slide in and out so you can adjust the x seam of your quad, for rider height as you wish.

And for both pedal and non pedal versions we have an integrated lighting option on both the front and the rear bumpers of the 4x4 revolution eQuad FS. This is a stock feature on the 4x4! It gives you a full light setup for visibility across the front of the bumper, and a half rear red light setup as well as self activating brake lights across the face of the rear bumper.

Adaptability

When creating such an offroad wheelchair option we focused a lot on adaptability, and having accessories that can help this quad fit any type of rider. We are constantly adding more options for different riding needs, and we will talk about these more in depth in a later article.

Headrest

For even more comfort, assembled and engineered in house we have our own Revolution Super Headrest. A comfortable and adjustable headrest available for both the Revolution reclined seat and the upright seat.

This headrest also comes paired with our shop's favorite Cateye ViZ450 Tail Light for maximum visibility from the rear.

Colors

And for even more customization we offer 4 stock colors. Crinkle Black, our all new Matte Wheat, Neon Green, and Army Green. And if you want even more color customization we have 40+ UTCustom colors that you can get on your quad as well.
