We’re pleased to welcome the new, full-suspension D90 FS to the Annihilator family. Similar to its fast, powerful, and beefed up counterparts, the D90 FS brings a lot of impressive features to the table: bigger wheels, UTCustom comfort, and an impressive 90-speed drivetrain make the D90 FS a formidable ride on or off the pavement.
The Annihilator D90 FS is built with a durable chromoly steel frame that’s been designed with a sporty look and just the right amount of adjustability. The boom can be adjusted to fit your reach to the pedals so you can ride in comfort. In fact, the D90 can carry a rider up to 6’4” tall! For the stock color we chose the sleek Satin Black, but you can choose from any of our custom powder coat options at no additional cost.
Like the majority of our Annihilator trikes, the D90 FS has been upgraded with our UTCustom performance mesh seat. We took our time working out the design, focusing on back support, ventilation and extra cargo space. Our seat mesh has an ergonomic design that provides excellent lumbar support and the seat mesh will keep you cool for miles on the road. We also designed it with an integrated cargo bag. It’s situated behind the left side of the rider so as to be easily accessible. It has multiple pockets that vary in size, including an insulated pocket to fit a water bladder.
We want you to be comfortable. The D90 has a seat that can be mounted to three different positions along the frame in order to cater to a variety of rider heights. You’ll be able to adjust it in order to find a comfortable pedal reach. The telescoping seat stays allow for an adjustment of the seat angle so you can ride more reclined or sitting up right. The choice is yours!
“Full suspension” is a bit of a buzzword in the recumbent world, right up there with “fat tires” and “electric assist”. The D90 FS uses a Torch DNM shock in the rear and has a custom spring design in the front end. DNM has been in the suspension business for years designing shocks for motorcycles, ATV’s and bikes. Choosing one of their shocks for the D90 FS was an easy decision. The Torch DNM is what gives this Annihilator its shock absorbing capabilities.
